001: Earth Not a Globe According to Scripture

If you’ve never been introduced to Biblical cosmology, you may be scratching your head on this one. Understood. Before diving into such a controversial topic, it’s important to lay some groundwork. To begin, the authenticity of the King James Bible is assumed for the purpose of keeping the subject matter concise without detracting or veering wildly off course. This post is intended for the Christian audience however, agnostics, atheists, Jews and Muslims are welcome. There are many questions and implications if such a deception could be proven. My question to the reader is, what does the Bible have to say on the matter? Why is this important? To the dismay of many theologians, there’s over 200 verses that support a geocentric cosmology. If this is true, how did we miss it?

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

2 Timothy 3:16

We don’t need our eyes checked, but we do need a quick refresher on basic human psychology. Have you ever gazed into your pantry and were unable to find what you’re looking for, even though it was there the whole time? Me too. In order to process information more quickly, we’ve trained ourselves to recognize patterns, images, logos, colors etc. so we can discard items that don’t meet our preconceptions. In the case of reading scripture, the same may hold true. If we read something that disagrees with our beliefs, we may overlook or disregard it. When a box’s label is facing inwards or in a position we’re not expecting, we may glance over it but never actually see it. In the same way, if we accept the mainstream cosmology narrative and then read that the earth is set on pillars, has ends, four corners, a foundation and is immovable, we may not see what the text plainly states.

“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.”

Enter the globe. It’s an image we’ve all seen a million times. In the information age of today, children are introduced to the globe before they can form coherent sentences, let alone logical arguments against such an idea. Many of us see the globe in some form, every single day whether that’s through logos, icons, television programming or other. It’s everywhere. How does brainwashing work, again? The heliocentric model is unavoidable at this point and nearly every denomination and religion adhere to it. How then, are we expected to read scripture with this confirmation bias and see the Word of God for what it is?

“ It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Psalm 118:8

Those who believe in a higher power should reject the big bang ideology since the explanation assumes everything came from nothing and for no reason. Moreover, the theory of evolution insinuates that life came from non-life through natural causes (Abiogenesis). Both assumptions go against observable science and are only bolstered by public indoctrination and government funding. Why then, should we stand by the globe when it can be suggested that it too was created without a purpose and by sheer happenstance? Biblical cosmology exposes this unholy trinity and removes an important barrier between God and man. Based on the description in the Bible and the depictions of many ancient civilizations, the Earth could not have been created by a random string of unrelated events. Purposeful creation destroys atheism, hedonism and materialism; everything that is wrong with the world today.

“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:”

Isaiah 40:22

Theologians will often use this verse to defend the heliocentric model. Did you notice that Isaiah used the word “circle” instead of ball or sphere? I would like to point out that a circle is a geometrically flat surface and a two-dimensional object if viewed from a top down perspective which is insinuated. What they won’t tell you is that earlier in Isaiah 22:18, the word “ball” is used, meaning that he knew the difference between the two shapes. The phrase, “circle of the earth” makes a lot of sense once we dig a little further. According to Genesis 1:10, earth is simply referred to as dry land. If a much smaller and nearer sun is moving around the earth in a circular manner, then the light and heat it produces would have a terminator line that would etch out a circle in the proposed ice shelf. This ice shelf would surround all land 360 degrees. This argument is strengthened by the fact that Antarctica has been mostly off limits since the introduction of a multinational treaty in 1959 which prohibits free and independent exploration below 60° south latitude. You can visit Antarctica on guided tours, but free exploration is not allowed without expressed permission. On the UN flag, where is Antarctica?

“He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.”

Job 26:10

It’s known that the old testament was originally written in Hebrew. Try the following for yourself: Google image “Hebrew Cosmology” (sample image provided below). Notice anything? Now that we have something to go by, let’s revisit Genesis 1 and see if the description fits. Starting with verse two, it says that the earth is without form and void and that the spirit of God moved over the face of the waters. Later, in verse 6 and 7 it reads:

“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.”

What is the firmament? How do you separate water from water without a physical barrier? The Hebrew root word for firmament is “Raqia” which translates to a solid expanse. Put another way, the firmament is the dome that the Hebraic model is depicting which holds back the waters above. Looking back at Noah and the great deluge, scripture is telling us where all the water came from which has stumped “scientists” for decades. Genesis 7:11 and Genesis 8:2 mention the fountains of the deep (waters below) broke loose and the windows of heaven were opened which would have allowed the water above to pour in.

A counter explanation that some theologians have promoted is the canopy theory. It’s suggested that a ring of ice used to be above the earth’s atmosphere and consequently melted during the flood. One problem. King David, who wrote the book of Psalms and lived in the post-flood era, had this to say:

“Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.”

Psalm 148:4

Sticking with the literal interpretation of the Bible, it would be fair to say that space is not a vacuum but instead, water. This would infer a great many falsehoods that mainstream science is promoting. We’re getting to that part but first, is there any evidence to suggest the Hebraic model is true?

The creation account repeatedly states that “God said (10 times)…” followed immediately by “it was so” (6 times). What’s the literal interpretation? If God is speaking and creation is happening, this would imply that the Creator speaks substance. It’s an interesting premise but is there any proof of this? Actually, yes there is. A little-known experiment called “sonoluminescence” would seemingly validate Genesis 1 outright. The experiment uses the same two ingredients described in the creation account: water and sound (God’s voice). It then combines the two to make heat and light to create what has been dubbed a “star in a jar.” The experiment fills a beaker with water and then passes frequency beams at a specific point using a high-intensity ultrasonic horn. From the vibration of the air waves, a small pocket or air bubble is created in the water. As the frequency increases, the bubble expands until it violently collapses and forms the miniature star. Below are two images. One from a sonoluminescence experiment and the other from amateur star footage using a high zoom lens (non-government). Can you distinguish between the two?

This is all very profound when we combine this revelation with John 1:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

God’s spoken word = Frequency/Vibration = Creation = Our Lord and Savior. The Word is the truth and the truth creates the light. Whoa. Didn’t water gush out of Jesus when he was speared on the cross? Also, did you know the creation account very clearly states that the earth came before the sun and moon? In fact, if you compare the biblical creation account with the secular version, it’s completely backwards. Who is it that inverts and turns things upside down, again?

Do you recall what your teachers taught you about the tilt of Earth’s axis? For as long as I can remember, it was always 23.4 degrees. That’s interesting because 23.4 minus vertical (90) gives us 66.6° from horizontal (i.e. flat). We’re also told that the earth is orbiting the sun at 66,600mph! Recently, the mainstream narrative has slightly modified these figures. I’d argue that this isn’t due to new “scientific” discovery, but rather to hide from the Great Awakening that’s taking place. The tilt of earth’s axis is now claimed to be 23.5 and the speed of our orbit around the sun is “about’” 67,000mph. You betcha.

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

Genesis 1:16

If the moon is a light itself, why are we taught that it’s reflecting the sun’s light? Also, have you ever considered all the coincidences of these two celestial bodies? We’re to believe that the sun and moon only appear to be the same size because the sun is exactly 400 times larger than the moon and exactly 400 times further away. To make matters worse, we only see one face of the moon because the moon also rotates about on its axis at the exact same speed it orbits the earth. If the rotation of the moon was off by an infinitesimal amount at any point in history, which would put it out of sync with the earth, we would have seen the other side of the moon by now. Talk about mental gymnastics.

An interesting discovery was made recently, which concludes that moonlight is colder than moon shade. This makes the properties of the moon opposite to that of our sun. You can buy an infrared laser thermometer to test this for yourself as I have. Moon shade is warmer than moonlight. Another anomaly is a recorded observation made by the Royal Astronomical Society which reads:

“On the 15th of March, 1848, when the moon was seven and a half days old, I never saw her unillumined disc so beautifully. . . . On my first looking into the telescope a star of about the 7th magnitude was some minutes of a degree distant from the moon’s dark limb. I saw that its occultation by the moon was inevitable. . . . The star, instead of disappearing the moment the moon’s edge came in contact with it, apparently glided on the moon’s dark face, as if it had been seen through a transparent moon; or, as if a star were between me and the moon. . . .”

Apparently, this was such an ominous event that several nations have modeled their flags after it:

The moon does appear to be translucent. Look at the moon’s craters during the day and compare them again at night. You can see the sky behind the craters as well as the unlit portion of the moon. If there’s water above the firmament, that would answer the age-old question: “Why is the sky blue?”

You probably have a million objections running through your mind at this point. Good. You’re encouraged to seek out the answers. What about the moon landings? What about the Mars rover? The ISS? Satellites? The edge? We all go through this, but rest assured, there are legitimate and even more so, fascinating answers to these objections. The best part? A 2,000-year-old book is your reference. God’s word is living, tested and proven.

Speaking from personal experience, the Bible begins to make a whole lot more sense after accepting Hebraic Cosmology as truth. For example, in Joshua 10:12 does he command the sun to stop moving or the earth to stop spinning? In Matthew 4:8, Satan took Jesus to a high mountain top and showed him all the kingdoms of the world. How is this possible on a globe? What about Revelation 6:13 where it says the stars fell unto the earth? According to NASA, we shouldn’t worry too much because this event will take millions of years to unfold due to the supposed distances. Speaking of NASA, the man responsible for developing the Saturn V rocket and taking men to the moon (allegedly), has a peculiar verse stamped on his tombstone:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” ~Psalm 19:1

One of the first things readers may do is go out and look for pictures of the earth. I encourage you do so but with discernment this time. To the disillusionment of those that do, you will notice that NASA can’t seem to make up its mind as to what the earth looks like. The deeper you dive, the more obvious this becomes. Take the blue marble from 2002 for instance. It was the home screen for every person who bought the first iPhone. The creator of the photo, Robert Simmon, admits that he used Photoshop and openly states that it’s a composite image. Compare with ancient cosmology:

Don’t stop there. While you’re at, Google image “satellites in space” and marvel at all the CGI images you are presented with. Keep going. The preponderance of evidence would suggest that the ISS footage we’ve all seen is a complete fraud. Sure, the ISS can be seen passing by the moon on occasion. Who’s to say what that is? After looking through hours of ISS bloopers including augmented reality errors, wire tugs, water bubbles in official space walk videos and green screen glitches galore, it’s safe to say that the ISS is not what they claim it is. What’s more telling, YouTube has admitted to censoring any and all videos containing the phrase, “flat earth.” Now, when you search with this phrase you will be provided several pages that “debunk” the theory and they do so by disproving falsehoods and strawman arguments. In addition, any flat earth videos you happen to stumble upon, there will be an informational box directly beneath the video letting users know how “archaic” the flat earth model is. This wasn’t the case a few years ago. Now we’re seeing corporate hit pieces being pushed in the mainstream such as “Behind the Curve” which premiered on Netflix recently (2019). For believers, this was nothing more than a who’s who of operatives within the movement. If the idea is so ludicrous, why try to hide it? Be diligent in your search and trust in the Word of God. And remember, as the old saying goes: “the Devil is in the details.”

Billion Youth Prophecy

Most have never heard of the prophet, Bob Jones. The epicenter of his visions concerned a future movement and a pastor named Mike Bickle who would lead it. Bob passed away on Valentine’s day in 2014 after what could be described as supernatural phenomena. For those who would like to catch up on the prophetic history of Forerunner Church and the prophecies yet to unfold, his videos can still be found on YouTube. To briefly summarize, Mike Bickle would head up leadership for a youth movement that would bring one billion souls to the Lord in a massive harvest. According to Bob, this billion-youth movement would begin in the year 2012, which is the generally agreed upon date as to when the flat earth movement resurfaced. He went on to prophesy that the movement would begin to accelerate in 2015. According to Google Trends, the search phrase “flat earth” spiked in late 2015 with its peak happening on January 31^st of 2016.

Why is it a youth movement and why does it require leadership? Let’s assume for a moment that the globe is a lie and that biblical cosmology is God’s truth. That would mean we’ve been brainwashed into believing something that wasn’t true our entire lives. The older we are, the more indoctrinated we would be. The least susceptible would be the younger generations, who by the way, have access to more information than ever. This explanation reasonably satisfies question one. As for why this movement requires leadership, this is because it exists mostly online. It is here where the truth is more easily attacked and subverted. Mockery is an effective weapon against those who are easily swayed.

Which brings us to our next two portions of the prophecy: singing and praise and relations with China. When this movement begins to manifest in the streets, the outrage of such an idea will almost be intolerable. All truth (of this magnitude) passes through 3 stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as self-evident. What better way to handle vitriol than singing and rejoicing in the truth of God’s word? The partnership with the Chinese and Forerunner has already come to fruition. As most of us know, China has more internet censorship than we do in the states. Thus, the revelation hasn’t reached these people with the same magnitude (or at all), as it has in other areas. With the invention of “unplugged television sets” (Bob’s description of smartphones when he received the vision in the 80’s), this is now possible.

Bob also reiterated a few things over the years. He taught that this movement would come about through a revelation of the scriptures. That inspired teachers would be raised up and they would go out into the world spreading the word; fearlessly I might add. He said that this revelation would expose the heresy in the church and that this teaching would glorify God in ways that we’ve never seen before. Are the scriptures referenced not clear? Does this revelation bring greater understanding to the creation account? If the Church denies the word of God, would this not be heresy? 

There’s also been an open vision of a temporary disruption of the United States government. This is a foregone conclusion if this knowledge goes nuclear, which it must. This country is a corporation and as such, has owners. When our owners send troops to American soil to dispel the masses, I believe that our resolve and firm stance in the truth of God’s word will send them packing.

Just how big is this movement, then? A rough estimate would place it in the 10’s of millions as of this writing. An excerpt from a recent Forbes article:

“Millennials in America sometimes get a bad reputation, this time for good reason. A recent survey found that just 66 percent of young adults aged 18 to 24 years old have “always believed the world is round.”

It later goes on to talk about the breakdown in demographics. What they found was very interesting:

“The survey found that 2% of Americans firmly believe the Earth is flat, with interesting differences segmented by age, religion, income, and political affiliation… Of the thousands of American adults surveyed, the percent that always believed the Earth is round decreased 
with younger generations.
In total, 84% of Americans responded that they believe the Earth is round. While the large majority believe the world is round, young millennials aged 18 to 24 are more likely to subscribe to the flat Earth belief (4%).”

Forbes facetiously used the correlation = causation fallacy when they had this to say:

“Religious beliefs appear to be correlated with one’s likelihood to subscribe to a flat Earth. YouGov found that 52 percent of flat earthers consider themselves ‘very religious.’”

The movement is bigger than America. There’s confirmed believers all over the “globe.” Many of which were former atheists or agnostics. There are some beautiful testimonies of people from all walks of life, converting when they come to this knowledge. In my opinion, we’re witnessing the final Great Awakening. Apocalypse simply means to unveil or lift up (i.e. expose). Scripture tells us that all things hidden or kept in secret will come to light (Luke 8:17). The globe, as a graven image, is the final stronghold that must fall before the return of the King.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Exodus 20:4
